WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR
ADULT SUPPORT IN OUR GROUP, AND FOR OUR CURRENT
PRODUCTION. WE ARE ESPECIALLY PLEASED THAT SO MANY YOUTH MEMBERS HAVE
SHOWN SUCH AN INTEREST TO HELP WITH "THE LOVELACE LEGACY" AND
HOPE THEY WILL ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE AND LEARN FROM IT! New members are always needed in Drama groups and we are no exception. We need MEN in particular in order to put on a good range of productions but ladies too are always welcome. Maybe you have always wanted to try your hand at acting, or maybe you prefer to be one of the 'crew' who help the Stage Manager construct the various 'sets' needed for the scenery and do the scene changes etc. during the 'run' of a show. There are many and varied jobs to choose from in a drama group and if you prefer to take a back seat, but also do a most valuable job, you can make the tea to keep us all sustained during rehearsals and performances. Phone Julie on 01454 850653 for further information We are still in urgent need of a new Wardrobe Mistress. We have two ladies willing to help her but they would like supervision. If you would like to give it a try then don't delay, phone Julie Tyzack on 01454 850653. WELL DONE ! to Hayleigh Gasston who has recently joined us and took over the role of Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz Panto", for the last two performances on the Saturday when our leading lady fell ill! CONGRATULATIONS to James Hurford-Reynolds who has recently received a reward for his outstanding help in school, including organising an anti-bullying campaign and Pupil Mentoring. Well done James! PARENTS AND CARERS PLEASE READ We'd like your support too please! Our numbers have been dwindling recently and we are finding it difficult to get everything done in time. If every family could offer adult support, either during rehearsals or during production week, our job would be so much easier. If you can offer assistance in any way - be it contacting prospective advertisers, sending our publicity, helping construct scenery, making costumes, rigging light systems, making props, working Front of House ( selling tickets or making tea for the audiences) or just making tea during rehearsal's, do phone Julie on 01454 850653 and offer your services. You will be made very Welcome! |

Our next pantomime will be"DICK WHITTINGTON" in DECEMBER 2008 The reading will be held at The Village Hall on Weds. June 4th at 7pm. Casting will be the following week, June 11th. Rehearsals will begin on June 18th, with a Summer Break, as always, from July 30th to September 2nd. We then start back and straight into rehearsals on Wednesday September 3rd. |
